Vientiane

Laos - ein neues Land und neue Abenteuer. Die Hauptstadt Vientiane pulsiert heftig, aber es ist angenehm, auf der Strasse wird man als Velofahrer respektiert, viele Velos sieht man allerdings nicht. Aehnlich wie in Thailand fahren alle Scooter, Auto oder Tuktuk.

Wir sind im Guesthouse Saysouli abgestiegen und mir gefaellts.


Unten ein Foto von Pha That Luang, das "wichtigste" Monument in Laos, bei dem diese Woche ein grosses Fest stattfindet.

Hier hab ich noch eine Karte fuer alle die sich fuer die Orte auf der Strecke interessieren:

Fuer alle die sich interessieren, hier noch die Karte von Laos. Am Samstag starten wir also Richtung Norden, tja da kann man nichts lesen auf der Karte, ich mach dann bei Gelegenheit noch Vergroesserungen...


Laos - a new country and new adventures. The capital is a vibrant city, but its comfortable, as cyclist you are respected on the road, but you dont get to see many other people on bikes. Like in Thailand everybody drives a scooter, car or uses a tuktuk.

We sleep in the Saysouli guesthouse, i like it.

The picture shows Pha That Luang, the "most important" monument of Laos, this week they celebrate a big festival there.
