Coffs Harbour mit dem Zug / by Train

Gestern bin ich noch bis Taree gefahren (55km) und hab dann den Zug bis Coffs Harbour genommen. Damit hab ich ca. 250km oder 3 Tage gespart. Ich hatte Glück, dass die Angestellten am Bahnhof nett waren, so musste ich mein Velo nicht in eine Velobox verpacken. Normalerweise muss man das und das wär für mich recht mühsam gewesen, weil ich so viel hätte abmontieren müssen. Das mit dem Zug fahren funktioniert hier sowieso etwas anders als bei uns. Auf der Strecke die ich machte verkehren pro Tag etwa zwei Züge. Tja Australien ist halt ein Auto- oder Flugzeugland. Aber ich gebe die Hoffnung nicht auf, dass wir eines Tages eine Velowelt haben.

In Coffs Harbour war ich heute Morgen am Strand, hab den Surfern zugeschaut und meditiert. Es war wunderschön. Wenns wieder Mal einen Internetanschluss mit USB-Anschluss hat gibts noch ein paar Bilder von den schönen Stränden hier an der Ostküste.

Jetzt fahr ich landeinwärts nach Grafton, rund 70km.

Yesterday I cycled to Tarre (55km) and took a train to Coffs Harbour. By doing that I skiped some 250km and saved me three days. I was lucky the people at the train station were nice to me and I didnt have to put my bike in a bikebox. Normaly you've got to do this and it would have been quiet enoying to do, because I have to take some many parts of my bike. Riding trains is a quiet different story than back home. On the track I did are like two trains a day. Well Australia is a Plane- and Car-country. But I've still got hope, that one day we live in a bikeworld.

In Coffs Harbour I've been to the beach and watched the surfers und meditated. It was beautiful. Next time I can upload pictures I will show you what the beaches on the eastcoast look like.

Now I will ride to Grafton away from the coast.
